Due to the nature of our work, mask removal and aerosol generation are inevitable, so we have gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe and protected. Aside from a medical-grade HVAC system in our new facility, mask-wearing, social distancing, extensive patient screening, and staggering appointment times, we have the following equipment in use:

Enviroklenz Air System Plus 

We have one of these mobile air purification units in each treatment room, totaling 9 units for our 5000 sq. ft. space. This particular system treats 250 cubic feet per minute on its highest setting. Our treatment rooms are approximately 120 sq. ft., so the air in each treatment room is turned over 30x every hour.

 ADS Extraoral Suction 

These are used for every procedure in our doctor’s rooms. The appeal of this system is it is designed to reduce droplet and aerosol spray and is designed with a 3 layered HEPA filtration system that stops viruses and bacteria with 99.995% efficiency. Most of the technology we use in our practice is air-driven to help reduce the generation of particles in the air from mouths and dental procedures.

Dryshield Continuous Suction Units

This is another way to reduce aerosol generation during procedures. This system helps to keep our work environment clean, dry, and visible and is multi-functional. This system works as a bite block, tongue shield, oral pathway protector, and high-suction evacuator.
